Mono, Layers & Gradients acetate reference PDF cover
Volume 01

Mono, Layers & Gradients

PDF · 136 pages · 18.2 MiB

Compare transparent, solid and opaline colours, multilayer sheets and gradients. Start here when colour depth or the relationship between front and temple colours is central to your design.

Natural Textures acetate reference PDF cover
Volume 02

Natural Textures

PDF · 69 pages · 22.5 MiB

Browse tortoiseshell, Havana, marble, wood-look and horn-look patterns. These are visual texture references for acetate, not claims that the frames contain natural wood, horn or tortoiseshell.

Patterns & Graphic Textures acetate reference PDF cover
Volume 03

Patterns & Graphic Textures

PDF · 145 pages · 57.7 MiB

Explore stripes, fine lines, floral and animal-inspired patterns, lattice, camouflage, dots and other graphic effects. Use the original material code to identify a selection; a pattern name alone is not a specification.

Surface Effects & Lamination acetate reference PDF cover
Volume 04

Surface Effects & Lamination

PDF · 41 pages · 18.8 MiB

Review glitter, pearl and chameleon effects, fabric and creative laminations, strip laminations and printed effects. Confirm the selected construction and finish with a physical sample before approval.

Series Lookbook acetate reference PDF cover
Volume 05

Series Lookbook

PDF · 549 pages · 63.3 MiB

Browse the supplier release archive from 2015 to 2026 for collection inspiration. Use Volumes 01–04 to shortlist individual material codes. Historical series and pictured frame designs do not establish current stock or finished-frame availability.

940 pages across five PDFs. The lookbook overlaps Volumes 01–04; entries are not a count of unique materials. Inclusion does not guarantee current stock, ongoing production or identical pattern placement. Lighting, thickness and finish can change appearance.

How to shortlist an acetate material

  1. Record the document name, page number and original material code. A screenshot can help identify your choice, but should not replace the code.
  2. Compare physical samples for colour, transparency, pattern and finish. For layered sheets, confirm the intended layer orientation and the appearance after machining.
  3. Agree sheet thickness, finish, current availability, material minimum order and lead time before final approval. Keep the approved sample with the project specification.

Acetate colour chart questions

Can a PDF colour chart replace a physical acetate sample?

No. Screen settings, lighting, sheet thickness and finish can change the apparent colour and transparency. Use the PDFs to shortlist original material codes, then approve colour and appearance using physical samples.

Which document should I use for tortoiseshell or wood-look acetate?

Use Volume 02, Natural Textures. It groups tortoiseshell, Havana, marble, wood-look and horn-look references. These names describe appearance; they do not mean the material is natural wood, horn or tortoiseshell.

Will a patterned material look identical on every frame?

Do not assume identical pattern placement. The reference documents do not guarantee it. Review a sample made with the selected material and agree which variations are acceptable before approving production.

Does a material in the Series Lookbook mean it is currently available?

No. The lookbook is a historical release archive. Confirm current availability, sheet thickness, finish, material minimum order and lead time for the specific code. A pictured frame is an appearance reference, not a finished-frame stock listing.

What information should I send after selecting a material?

Send the document name, page number, original material code, intended frame model or drawing, preferred finish and planned order quantity. Physical sample review and specification confirmation come before final material approval.
