Design details visible in the catalogue

The brow rises towards broad outer corners, while the lower rim remains visibly rounded. The three-quarter views show straight-looking temples with a visible surface pattern in some colour references. The photographs describe appearance, not the process that produced that pattern. Compare C3 Tortoiseshell with C4 Grey/Tortoiseshell as separate material-layout directions. A shared model number does not make the transparency, contrast or pattern distribution interchangeable. Send the selected catalogue colour code with the intended front and temple layout.

From catalogue selection to production approval

  1. Brief: specify OAB2023, colour codes, target quantity, market and authorised logo requirements.
  2. Feasibility and sample: agree the material, components, colour split, full dimensions and sample charges. Typical sampling is 7–10 working days after the relevant design, material and specification confirmations. New tooling, if required, is scheduled separately.
  3. Approval and bulk: confirm the physical sample, specification, order details and delivery plan. Typical bulk production is around 25 working days after sample approval and order confirmation; the actual schedule is confirmed for the project.

Samples using existing tooling are normally USD 50–200. New designs requiring tooling incur an additional mould fee. New tooling normally takes 20–25 calendar days from drawing approval; any offset against a bulk order is agreed separately. These are general project conditions, not a fixed quotation for this model.

Questions about OAB2023

What distinguishes the OAB2023 outline from OAB2022?

OAB2023 has broader, more angular outer corners and a catalogue size of 52-17-145 mm. OAB2022 shows a more rounded cat-eye direction at 50-20-145 mm. Compare both drawings and samples; those three measurements do not establish the complete fit.

Are OAB2023 Tortoiseshell and Grey/Tortoiseshell the same colour option?

No. They are separate catalogue references, C3 and C4. C3 shows warmer tortoiseshell patterning, while C4 presents a grey-toned patterned direction. Confirm the chosen front and temple material together rather than substituting one by name.

Does the visible OAB2023 temple pattern identify its manufacturing process?

The catalogue shows a surface pattern but does not identify the method, depth, coating or durability. Specify the desired appearance and ask for the proposed construction and finished sample before treating the image as a process specification.

Can an OAB2023 project use a different front width?

A dimensional change is a development request, not an automatic catalogue option. Provide the required drawing or measurements so feasibility, components, sampling and any tooling implications can be confirmed before the order is accepted.
